The 20-year old defender plans to break into the Arsenal team next summer who still remains a crucial part of the club’s future.
Fabrizio Romano suggested that his loan with Marseille will only last till the end of the 2021/22 campaign and he will be back in the summer.
He is about to start with English lessons to advance his speaking.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirms that the club keeps in touch with the French defender and club director Edu was sent out to watch the PSG game in Marseille live.
“Yes, we have been as a club always in touch,” Arteta said. “They went to see the game as well, Edu and Ben were there to watch him and to keep a close eye on him and the progress that he’s making.
“Obviously he’s our player, and we all do with all the loan players that we have.
“He continues to do what he needs to do which is to play a lot of games and play them well.”
