Villarreal may release Yeremy Pino to ease their financial problems.
Arsenal have decided their alternatives if they fail to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto. They have picked Yeremy Pino, according to Ryan Taylor of The Express.
Mikel Arteta has overseen a busy summer of business at the Emirates but can still add to his squad ahead of the deadline day.
As per the reports of The Athletic, Neto has emerged as Arsenal’s top target in the wake of Nicolas Pepe’s departure to Nice.
The report adds that talks with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes have taken place for more than a month now.
The Gunners are understood to want to seal a deal for the 22-year-old for £35 million, whereas they are asking for closer to £50 million at Molineux.
Arsenal are linked with Villarreal youngster Pino. They will face the task with Liverpool to sign the 19-year-old, according to Spanish outlet AS. The Sapnish club may release their player to ease their financial problems.
However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has warned it will likely cost around £42 million to land the talented Spaniard this summer.
Taylor told GIVEMESPORT: “So with Pino, he is one of a few. From what I understand, there are alternatives that Arsenal would be willing to go for if they can’t get Neto. But they don’t want to just sign someone for the sake of it. It has to be a player that is genuinely going to improve their squad and also someone who fits their transfer policy.”
We all know that Pepe departed for Nice on a season-long loan so Arteta wants new winger to his squad.
