Wilfried Zaha has said that he wants people to stop spreading pointless rumours about his reported move to Arsenal and start believing in facts.
“Whatever happened to speaking facts?” he said. “It’s sad and annoying how anyone will just open their mouth and speak on things or situations they know absolutely nothing about.”
A few days back his brother had hinted that Zaha was inclined to move to North London as it is Zaha’s dream club.
“It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal,” he added. “Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European Football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”
Arsenal are in dire need of a winger who can play from the wide areas and with Zaha in their team, the Gunners can showcase a potent threat.
However, the negotiations have stalled as the clubs seem unable to settle on a transfer fee for the player. Arsenal have a limited budget which seems to be less than what Crystal Palace are demanding.
