4 Arsenal Players Who Might Not Play For The Club Again!

If the Premier League were to end prematurely this season, there are 4 Arsenal players who might not feature for the club anymore.

The Coronavirus outbreak has put the entire footballing world into a halt in Europe but it has come at a bit of an annoying period for Arsenal.

Just when the team was settling themselves under Mikel Arteta, the head coach himself contracted the virus and sent the entire Premier League into total shutdown until April 4th. The jury is still out on whether football will reconvene at all this season, depending on the situation in two weeks’ time.

The Gunners currently have 3 loanees in their ranks – Cedric Soares, Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari. All of them contracts until June 2020 which makes this current situation even more dicey. If the season were to continue beyond June 31st, will Arsenal be forced to let go of the players?

Ceballos is likely to return to Real Madrid after coming into form this year. Mari’s deal from Flamengo could be made permanent but that is yet to be finalised. Cedric’s contract is due to end after this season but the Gunners will be cautious over handing him a new deal without seeing him in action.

Matt Macey is the only permanent Arsenal player who’s contract with the club is set to end in three months time. The goalkeeper is currently third on the pecking order behind Bernd Leno and Emiliano Martinez.
