Arsenal Are Joined By Bayern Munich In The Race For Ajax Winger

Arsenal have reportedly been joined by Bayern Munich in the race for Ajax star, Hakim Ziyech.

The winger has managed to impress plenty with his European outings with the Dutch side. He has scored 19 goals in 42 games this season while also laying out 20 assists.

Ziyech was particularly noticeable during de Joden’s Champions League fixtures against top sides like Real Madrid and Juventus. The Moroccan international scored in both legs against the Galacticos.

He was also the shining light in the 1-2 victory over Juventus on Tuesday. Ziyech assisted Donny van de Beek to the equaliser just 6 minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal.

The 26-year-old has spent his entire playing career in the Netherlands with teams like Twente and Heerenveen. He has also earned 23 caps for Morocco and 12 international goals.

His value is relatively high at £35m after watching him in action this campaign. Arsenal are on the lookout for a quality winger and Ziyech could their ideal man.

Right now, the Gunners need some speed and crossing infused into the side with the offensive lineup filled by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. The strikers could hit a far more impressive scoring tally if they are fed more from the flanks, also giving a team a different attacking approach.
