Arsenal and the Red Bull group have been showing interest in Savio.
Arsenal faces competition from Manchester City for Atletico Mineiro whizkid Savio. According to Globo Esporte, the Manchester club are in talks over a £5.4million deal for Savio.
The Brazilian has made 21 appearances for Atletico and he is just 17. He has played for Brazil U18 and he might be a great future prospect. His form is marking attention from various clubs.
Arsenal and the Red Bull group have been showing interest, but City are expected to press ahead and reach an agreement with a deal that will see him loaned out to one of their partner clubs.
According to Globo, Atletico are looking for a further 12.5 per cent sell-on and add ons for Savio who can play on either wing or behind the striker.
The report also adds that the offer could rise to £8.4m along with a sell-on clause of an unspecified amount.
