Arsenal remains interested in Youri Tielemans but no bid has been tabled as yet.
According to Ryan Taylor of The Daily Express, Arsenal could do a deal for Leicester City ace Youri Tielemans this summer as they continue to target a new midfielder and a new winger this summer.
Mikel Arteta could still strengthen further ahead of the September 1 deadline. The Gunners have been linked with a move for Belgium for a while now with a report from the Telegraph detailing their interest back in May.
The same report also added that the Foxes could be willing to accept as little as £25 million for Tielemans with the 25-year-old entering the final year of his deal at the King Power Stadium.
Meanwhile, there has seemingly been very little progress with the deal since. The club remain interested in the player but no bid has been tabled as yet.
Taylor believes that Arsenal remains interested in signing a new winger and a new central midfielder this summer.
Taylor told GIVEMESPORT: “If they decided they wanted to do that deal, and if they were willing to table the money, it could be done. But they’re the two priorities. I think anything outside of that may depend on outgoings.”
