Kieran Tierney is expected to leave Arsenal by the end of this month.

The Scottish defender has slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal since the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Man City last summer.

He has three years left on his contract and Arsenal would demand in the north of £25m for his services.

Tierney has attracted attention from Real Sociedad and his former side Celtic and a departure is likely this summer.

The 25-year-old right-back was once considered the future captain of the club but his downfall has proved much to the annoyance of Arsenal fans.

Pundit Fabrizio Romano claims the defender’s future still remains uncertain at the North London club despite interest from other clubs.

He said: “The future of Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney remains up in the air but I do know that Real Sociedad are keen to bring him to Spain as part of a loan move, but Arsenal at the moment insist on a permanent transfer.

“The player is open to leaving Arsenal but there is no clarity yet on other clubs making official moves for the left-back. I think next week it will be clear who wants to sign Tierney from Arsenal.”
