Arsenal are among the clubs interested in the services of Noa Lang

The Gunners are keeping a careful eye on the progress of the Club Brugge attacker, who is expected to depart the club in the summer for a cost of approximately €35-40 million.

It has put Arsenal on high alert, despite the fact that the Gunners face heavy challenge from league rivals Leicester City.

Noa Lang, formerly of Ajax, has achieved extraordinary success since joining Club Brugge in 2020. He first joined the club on loan, but after scoring 22 goals in 24 league games in his first season, his move was made permanent last summer for a cost of roughly €6 million.

Lang has proven out to be a steal for Team Brugge, tallying 25 goals and 23 assists in 73 competitive games for the club. He’s formed a strong offensive combo with Charles De Ketelaere and Bas Dost, but it hasn’t been enough to overtake Royale Union Saint Gilloise this season.

The winger can make darting runs in behind the defence and drive in crosses into the area. It has been a significant aspect of his game at Club Brugge thus far, and at such a young age, the attacker is only going to get better.

Lang might play on the left flank of Arteta’s 4-2-3-1, with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard filling in the other creative roles. It would allow Arteta to play Gabriel Martinelli in a more central role, increasing the offensive unit’s overall adaptability and making it significantly more efficient in the final third.

Given his age profile and ability to become a high-level asset for a cost of roughly €35-40 million, Noa Lang may be a wise investment.
