Arsenal eye Carlo Ancelotti as next manager after his Napoli sacking

Napoli sacked Carlo Ancelotti last night after the Italian manager delivered a 4-0 win in the Champions League final group match. There had been talks previously about Napoli wanting to sack the Italian.

As it happens, it might have worked out well for Arsenal. The Gunners recently parted ways with their Spanish boss Unai Emery recently and are currently looking for a full time boss.

Arsenal legend Freddie Ljunberg is in charge however going by his first few matches, we don’t think Ljunberg will be of big help to push Arsenal back to great heights.

Arsenal were under severe distress with Emery in charge and the Gunners will want to make a more experienced choice this time.

And who will be more experienced than Carlo Ancelotti for the Gunners? The Italian has previously managed in London with Chelsea. As the Blues’ boss, Ancelotti won the Premier League in his very first season and did it in style. He helped Chelsea score over 100 goals which back then was a record in the Premier League. He also won the FA Cup besides the league title.

Elsewhere in Europe, Ancelotti has won multiple Champions League trophies with clubs like AC Milan and Real Madrid. He has also won league titles in Spain and Italy.

At Arsenal, more than anything, the club needs leadership and Carlo might just be the perfect man!
