Arsenal face another injury concern ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool as Hector Bellerin suffered a thigh injury during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace last weekend.

The Spaniard will miss Arsenal’s Carabao Cup fixture against Blackpool as he attempts to be fit for Saturday’s game.

Arsenal will assess Bellerin’s fitness shortly before they take on Liverpool.

Defenders Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal have nearly recovered from their hamstring injuries. Both will undergo tests to determine if they’ll be fit enough to play against Liverpool.

Mohamed Elneny probably won’t play against Liverpool but he should be back to training in a couple of weeks after sustaining a thigh injury.

Laurent Koscielny will still take some time to recover from his Achilles tendon injury.

Arsenal’s game against Liverpool will probably be their first big match since facing Chelsea in mid-August. The Gunners were enjoying an 11-match unbeaten run before a draw against Crystal Palace broke the streak.

Liverpool are yet to lose a Premier League match so far and are currently second in the Premier League table behind Manchester City. They have the same number of points as Manchester City but trail due to inferior goal difference.

Arsenal’s match against Liverpool will certainly answer one question and that is, ‘How good is Arsenal against strong teams?’
