Arsenal Handed Defensive Blow Ahead Of Europa League Fixture

Napoli winger, Lorenzo Insigne is set to return from injury for the upcoming Europa League fixture against Arsenal.

If the Gunners fans are unaware of the Italian’s true abilities, Insigne has scored 24 goals in 53 appearances in the European stage. He has registered 13 goals and 7 assists in 35 games this term.

Insigne was involved in the Serie A outfit’s last fixture against Genoa. The 27-year-old came on as a 67th-minute substitute in the 1-1 draw.

He suffered a thigh injury last week but will be travelling with the team to London. Carlo Ancelotti’s men pose a serious threat to Arsenal’s chances of winning the Europa League.

The Gunners have already been exposed multiple times due to their feeble defensive rank this season. Finding the speedy and clever in the opposition final third is not expected to help, especially if Ainsley Maitland-Niles is made to cover him.

The Arsenal youngster put out a horrific display in the 1-0 weekend defeat to Everton, causing outrage amongst the club’s fans.

Unai Emery might go with Stephan Lichtsteiner in the right-back position but we all know of the veteran’s limitations. It will take a devised effort to stop the pacey winger.
