Arteta told Aaron Ramsdale that he wants him to continue fighting for his spot.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has no intention of letting goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale leave the club in the summer transfer window. The Englishman is not getting regular games so he needs a new club to find some challenges.

Aaron Ramsdale has been replaced by David Raya. The Brentford loanee is now the first-choice goalkeeper for the club. Gunners are also planning to offer him a permanent contract this summer. It means, Ramasdale will not get regular games in the new season as well.

The England international started the season as the first-choice goalkeeper. However, David Raya came and took charge as the main goalkeeper.

Recently, Ramadale’s father also raised questions on Arteta for not giving his son regular time at Emirates. The Spaniard preferred David Raya in Champions League fixtures as well.

Ramasdale were linked with a potential winter move to Chelsea and Bayern Munich. However, the deal didn’t happen. The 25-year-old will take part in Euro 2024 and he wants regular game time so he can help England to chase the glory this time.

As per FootballTransfers, Arteta still views Ramsdale as a key figure for Arsenal. He will only be allowed to leave if another goalkeeper of similar calibre arrives. He also discussed with the Englishman and told him that he wants him to continue fighting for his spot.
