Chelsea is vying with Arsenal and Manchester United for the signing of Club Brugge kid Antonio Nusa

The major clubs in Europe are keeping an eye on Nusa, and Chelsea tried to sign the forward during the summer transfer window, but their £23 million deal was rejected.

The 18-year-old made headlines in September 2022 when he scored against FC Porto in the Champions League for the first time as the youngest player ever. This month, he scored for Norway in his international debut in a 6-0 friendly victory over Jordan.

The Daily Express reports that Chelsea and Manchester United will also send scouts to monitor Nusa during Club Brugge’s Europa Conference League match against Besiktas on Thursday night. Arsenal is also reportedly sending scouts to watch the adolescent.

Since breaking into Brugge’s first team, Nusa has made 45 appearances across all competitions and scored twice in 11 games so far this year.

Even at such a young age, Nusa has already made 46 appearances for Brugge, the majority of which have been as starters. He also earned his senior Norway debut earlier this month. The youngster recently discussed his failed transfer to Chelsea, which apparently fell through when Standard Sport stated that up to 20 clubs were keeping tabs on him.
