According to reports from the Sun, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The youngster has been a part of Crystal Palace since 2008 when he joined the youth team. he joined the senior team in 2016 and has established himself as a regular under Roy Hodgson this season.

So far, the 21-year old has made 28 appearances for Palace this season, providing two assists.

With Hector Bellerin injured, the other right-back options Arsenal have right now are Stephan Lichtsteiner and Carl Jenkinson. While Lichtsteiner is aging, Jenkinson still needs to mature his game. Hence, Wan-Bissaka would be a very suitable addition to Unai Emery’s squad.

However, Arsenal aren’t the only team interested in signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Manchester City and Bayern Munich have also shown interest in signing the 21-year old English right-back of Congolese descent. Although, it seems that the Gunners have the edge over City and Bayern to sign Wan-Bissaka.

However, given his performances for the club, Crystal Palace may not be too willing to let go of Wan-Bissaka, not for a cheap price at least.
