Mykhaylo Mudryk, a winger for Shakhtar Donetsk, has been the subject of negotiations with Arsenal

The 21-year-old forward is currently one of the most sought-after players in Europe, and Shakhtar are willing to part with their prized possession, but only for the right price.

Shakhtar have made it known that they are requesting €100 million for Mudryk, using Manchester City’s purchase of Jack Grealish as a benchmark. Mudryk has been open about his desire to relocate. In the summer, he was on the verge of signing with Brentford when a potential agreement with Bayer Leverkusen fell through.

In recent months, he has also drawn the attention of AC Milan, Juventus, Ajax, and Newcastle United, but reports claim that Arsenal are currently thought to be leading the race to sign him.

After failing to sign Raphinha in the summer, the Gunners have set their sights on a new forward in the January transfer window. A fresh attacker is starting to take precedence over a midfielder or a defender for them. The club management has also talked Moussa Diaby, Christian Pulisic, and Joao Felix, but Mudryk is the player they are aiming for.

Arsenal is reportedly eager to smash their club record to get Mudryk to north London, according to sources close to the club, but it is still unclear whether they will be able to reach a deal with Shakhtar.
