Aaron Ramsdale has been linked with a move to Chelsea in January.

The England international has fallen out of favour at the Emirates since the arrival of David Raya from Brentford on loan this summer.

He has lost his No.1 spot to the Spaniard who has started 12 games for Arsenal in the Premier League and Champions League.

England manager Gareth Southgate has warned Ramsdale of losing his place in the Euro 2024 squad if he doesn’t secure regular game time.

The former Sheffield United goalkeeper has made only two Carabao Cup appearances since Raya’s arrival in the summer window.

But pundits and fans have questioned Raya’s performances in the past few weeks and have bemoaned Mikel Arteta to slot in Ramsdale back into the first-team squad.

Club legend Ray Parlour has suggested the England international to consider his future and join London rivals Chelsea.

“I don’t think he’ll (Ramsdale) move in the January window,” the former England international said.

“I think they’ll wait until the end of the season. If he’s not getting any opportunity then, he’s got to look. Chelsea could be a shout. Definitely a shout. They could upgrade.”

Aaron Ramsdale will start against Brentford this weekend as Raya is ineligible to play against his parent club.
