Arsenal have made an offer for New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner.

According to ESPN, a bid has been made, which could spell the end for Bernd Leno at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta made Aaron Ramsdale one of his summer signings.  Ramsdale has also established himself as the club’s first-choice keeper.

Leno formerly held that title but has spent much of the season watching on from the bench.

Arteta will have been reluctant to let Bernd Leno go without bringing in cover so a swoop for Matt could have a knock on effect.

Turner has played in the MLS since 2016 and has 13 caps for his country, starting in all six games played at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
