Arsenal are planning to offer a 12-month extension option to keep him at the club.
Arsenal have made an offer with the new contract for one of the their important midfielder. The player is likely to accept the proposal. Jorginho has been regular for the Gunners this season.
He was signed by the North London club in the winter transfer window of 2023 due to a knee injury of Mohamed Elneny. Mikel Arteta showed full faith in Jorginho despite outrage from media.
The 32-year-old has scored one goal abd provided two assists in 35 games. He started both legs of Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final showdown with Bayern Munich.
Jorginho also earned appreciation after the games against Liverpool and Newcastle United. The Italian has been terrific in his role. His current contract will expire at the end of the season.

As per the reports of the Athletic, Arsenal have now tabled their offer. Jorginho will join Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the extension list.
Arsenal are guaranteed to lose Elneny when his own deal expires this summer. Thomas Partey’s contract will expire in 2025 and he may be sold out early.
