Mikel Arteta would be wise to let Jorginho leave when the transfer window commences in winter.
Mundo Deportivo revealed that Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is on the radar of Barcelona. The Spanish club is hoping to sign the Italian talent from the North London club in the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea man has been a decent performer. He has featured in a total of 19 matches for the club so far, securing one assist.
The 31-year-old is under contract at the Gunners until the end of this season. It is only logical for the North London club to cash in on him this winter or else risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
Jorginho can make some timely interceptions for his team when he is playing with confidence on the field and is usually quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
Mikel Arteta would be wise to let Jorginho leave when the transfer window commences in winter. The Gunners could use the money generated from his departure to boost other areas of their squad in 2024.
