Arsenal have reached terms with Manchester City over the signing of Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus will join Arsenal for £45 million, according to an agreement.
After Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland joined City, the striker made the decision to leave the champs. After working together at City, manager Mikel Arteta’s friendship with Gabriel Jesus led to a transfer to Arsenal.
The Gunners were able to stave off opposition from Chelsea and Tottenham to reach a £45 million agreement. Although the Brazilian is very close to joining Arsenal, the two teams are still ironing out the last-minute elements of the deal.
As we attempt to replace the gap created by the exits of both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, the Brazilian has been designated as our top signing. Although everything seems to have gone well thus far, some may have had doubts about the deal because it seemed to take so long to reach an agreement. However, that obstacle seems to have been cleared today.
This could be precisely what our team needs to keep developing our squad, and I already appreciate the effort our superiors are doing in the background to put the new squad together as soon as possible. At this rate, the majority of our club could be prepared to participate in a complete preseason together.
