Arsenal wouldn’t mind letting Jakub Kiwior leave on loan this January.

The Polish defender arrived from Spezia this January for a fee in the region of £21million and signed a contract until the summer of 2027.

Kiwior has struggled for consistent game time in the current campaign as he started only two Premier League games this term.

With William Saliba’s return from injury, the defender has been restricted to only 182 minutes of Premier League football.

The Gunners are currently happy with the player’s progress but can consider a loan move as Kiwior wants to have more minutes under his belt.

Kiwior has attracted attention from Serie A clubs mainly AC Milan and Roma as the clubs are open to the idea of signing him on a temporary deal.

Earlier this season, the Polish defender expressed his desire to break into the first team.

“We have excellent players here. The level of competition is very high. But I’m happy that I am able to compete with such good players,” he reflected.

“Even if I’m not selected in the starting line-up, I’m trying my best. I’m happy whenever I’m able to help the team, so I don’t perceive the competition as something bad.”
