Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on Arsenal’s priority. Everton might face a big setback under new manager Rafa Benitez. The 24-year-old player is linked with Gunners and Arsenal is putting its best to sign him considering his impressive performances.
According to Football.London, Arsenal’s technical director Edu and his recruitment team has started the plan. They are already working hard on scouting and building a suitable shortlist of forwards to sign next summer.
The report adds that: “Edu’s next task at Arsenal will be bringing in a new top striker, with Mikel Arteta looking likely to lose a number of important forward players at the end of this campaign.
“And it’s expected that the number one standout candidate on that list will be Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.”
Alexandre Lacazette is going to be latest Arsenla player who wil leave Emirates Stadium in January. Mikel Arteta is now looking for a potential replacemnet for him and no dobut, Calvert-Lewin could be the man to do the justice with this role.
Calvert-Lewin scored 21 goals and provided five assists in 39 appearances last season. He was the first-choice backup for Harry Kane in England’s Euro 2020 squad and he made two appearance for Gareth Southgate.
