Arsenal Players Want Mauricio Pochettino As Their Manager - David Seaman

David Seaman believes Mauricio Pochettino is the man Arsenal players would want as their manager.

The Gunners sacked Unai Emery last month and has appointed Freddie Ljungberg on an interim basis.

Josh Kroenke revealed to the fans that a the club will take their time in selecting the right candidate. He told the Arsenal website, “Our process is already underway. It’s going to be led by Raul (Sanllehi), Vinai (Venkatesham), Edu and Huss (Fahmy) here internally. I look forward to getting with them and working closely with them throughout this process.”

When asked about a timescale, he said, “Because of our confidence in Freddie we’re very fortunate that we’re going to be entering into our process and doing a thorough search and it’s about finding the right candidate, it’s not about finding the first candidate.”

Pochettino is currently looking for offers after getting sacked by Tottenham. Seaman believes the Gunners players could really get behind the Argentine.

“Yeah I’ve seen a lot of the people that have been mentioned and I was hoping someone like Patrick Vieira might get a chance of being in there,” Seaman told TalkSport. “But it doesn’t look like that would happen. But the name that I keep going back to now is Poch! If you asked the players if they would take him now and I bet you a good 90% of them would say yes.”
