Lavia’s current contract at Southampton will expire in 2027.
According to Daily Mirror, Arsenal are ready to launch a move for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia. It has been added that the North London club are hoping to sign the Belgian sensation during this summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old had a solid campaign at the Saints as he managed to put in a run of impressive displays at the centre of their midfield.
His current contract at Southampton will expire in 2027. The Gunners will have to make a lucrative offer if they want to convince Southampton to part ways with their prized asset.
Lavia appeared in 35 matches last season, scoring once and providing one assist across all competitions. The Belgian is primarily a defensive midfield but can also fill in as a center-half if asked to do so by his manager.
Lavia might help Arsenal challenge for some major trophies in the coming seasons.
