Arsenal rejects approach for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Premier League club

Ramsdale will only consider a departure if it would help his career trajectory.

Arsenal have rejected an offer for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from a Premier League club. Ramsdale is linked with a potential winter move following not getting regular time.

The 25-year-old signed a contract extension this year but this season has been mixed for him under Mikel Arteta. He made 38 appearances last season where Arsenal were title challengers.

Arsenal goalkeeper has had to settle for just five Premier League appearances this season. He has lost his place to David Raya who was signed from Brentford on loan. Raya has established himself as Mikel Arteta’s number one choice.

Rumours were going around that Ramsdale could seek a move away in the winter transfer window. His irregular chances at Emirates could affect his chances in Euro 2024 for England.

As per football.london, a bottom-half Premier League side have made an offer for Arsenal goalkeeper. As per reports, the Wolves have tried to get the Englishman in winter window. Arsenal rejected the offer as they looked at him as a backup option.

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also in the race for the Englishman. Ramsdale will only consider a departure if it would help his career trajectory. His contract will expire in the summer of 2026.
