Arsenal are linked with a number of forwards this summer, but rumours about Lautauro Martinez have gone quiet
The departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have left us severely lacking in attack, and finding a successor must be our first priority this summer.
While Gabriel Jesus is largely regarded as our top target, the situation at Inter Milan should be generating more buzz.
Paulo Dybala is set to join on a free transfer from Juventus, while Romelu Lukaku appears to be on his way back from Chelsea. This has to make Lautauro reconsider his job on the side, and given their financial situation, you’d think they’d be open to a major cash infusion.
Martinez has been on our radar for a while, and we appear to be testing the waters in terms of targeting targets, but there’s been nothing reported about us attempting to sign the Inter star recently.
I feel he is underappreciated since he can play as a primary forward or a secondary forward and has a great eye for goal. I believe he would thrive in any club.
I believe that if we make him the main centre of our attack and give him the freedom and responsibility that he deserves, we will be able to take our offensive to the next level.
