Arsenal also made enquiries for Gabriel Jesus in November.

Arsenal are expected to bid for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus is entering the final year of his contract, and with City is planning to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, he could look to leave the club.

The Gunners made enquiries for Jesus in November, and according to football.london,an offer of £35m will be lodged for the 25-year-old this summer.

Mikel Arteta is desperate to sign a top-level forward, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to be free agents in June.

Arsenal are also considering Roma striker Tammy Abraham. Meanwhile, the Gunners have been deterred by Roma’s asking price of €80m.

It is the same price Chelsea can pay to bring Abraham back to Stamford Bridge, having inserted a buy-back clause in his contract upon his move to Rome in 2021.
