Arsenal to offer new contract to Bukayo Saka

Arteta has made securing Saka’s long-term future his top priority.

Arsenal are offering a new contract to Bukayo Saka which is worth over four times his current deal.

According to The Sun, the 20-year-old currently receives a basic wage of just £30,000-a-week, making him one of the lowest-paid players at the Gunners.

But now the North London club are preparing to offer him a new weekly deal worth around £125,000 to end any speculation about a summer move.

Manager Mikel Arteta wants the 20-year-old for the next season and he has made securing Saka’s long-term future his top priority.

It will mean a massive pay rise for the Englishman who is now one of the hottest properties in English football.

Saka’s representatives have already been notified that the Premier League giants are ready to sit down and thrash out a new contract the moment the current season is over.

Arsenal is having a great season and they are likely to finish in top four in season 2021/22.
