Paul Merson tells Arsenal to go for Romelu Lukaku in the summer.

The Gunners has been told to sign Romelu Lukaku after missing out on the Premier League title.

They have won two of their last eight games and a part of the problem was a lack of goals up front.

Lukaku who’s enjoying his loan spell at Inter has scored 13 goals and help the Serie A giants in the Champions League final.

Merson has advised his former club to make a swoop for Lukaku during the summer window.

“Arsenal need a centre forward,” he told GiveMeSport. “They need someone who is going to get them 25 goals a season.

“I’m not having a go at Gabriel Jesus. He’s a very good player and he’s been a brilliant signing. But he’s not going to get you the goals you need on his own.

“Manchester City are head and shoulders above everybody. So you need to get stronger just to compete.

“Romelu Lukaku might be available. The 30-year-old is an out-and-out centre-forward. He will stay up front and back into players. That might help Arsenal.”
