A great demand exists for Vitor Roque, who recently assisted Brazil in winning the U20 South American Championship

His good performance has reportedly increased his asking price as Arsenal attempts to sign him before Barcelona. Before the tournament, sources claim that Barca, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and a few more teams were interested in the striker; however, interest has since skyrocketed.

They can be sure Roque will succeed if he transfers to the Emirates since he is a player with a bright future. Arsenal can’t be too sure that they will win the race, though, given the rivalry for his signature. Arsenal is allegedly prepared to “do anything” to get Roque, despite Barcelona believing they are the front-runners to do so.

Athletico Paranaense is apparently willing to sell for between €35m and €40m, according to his agent, and Barcelona plans to send a delegation to Brazil to discuss a transaction.

In contrast to earlier rumours, which stated that Vitor Roque’s team raised the asking price for the 17-year-old striker to €60 million, this is true.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, apparently gave the go-ahead to pursue Roque despite the expensive cost. The Gunners have opened preliminary negotiations and are thinking about signing the talented Brazilian.
