According to reports, Bayern Munich are keen to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey. Aaron Ramsey’s current contract at Arsenal expires at the end of this season and the club has reportedly refused to give him another contract. Hence, it is highly likely that the Welshman could be a free agent at next summer.
However, Bayern have kept close tabs on Ramsey and are willing to hold talks with Arsenal during the winter.
Bayern Munich aren’t the only club that is interested in signing Ramsey. Ever since the rumors of Ramsey leaving Arsenal next summer arose, Manchester United and Liverpool are also reportedly keen to bring in the Welsh midfielder.
Chelsea also showed interest in Ramsey but with the abundance of quality in their midfield along with the recent good form of Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, they might not consider bidding for Ramsey.
Aaron Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 on a fee of £4.8 million. Ramsey wasn’t a regular in his first three seasons but from 2011 onwards, has become an integral part of the club.
Ramsey has played 345 matches for Arsenal across all competitions. He has scored 60 goals and has provided as many assists.
This season, Ramsey has featured in 14 of Arsenal’s 16 matches, scoring a goal and providing 16 assists. He has appeared in all of Arsenal’s Premier League games, making 6 starts.
