Charlie Patino wants to make a name for himself at the Emirates.

The Arsenal wonderkid is an academy graduate and considered one of the brightest talents to come out of the Hale End Academy.

The 19-year-old had an impressive loan spell with Blackpool last season and is already making a good option with Swansea City this year.

Patino has already scored one goal and has provided three assists in his first nine appearances for the Welsh club.

Earlier it was reported that the teenager would seal a permanent exit but the club activated a 12-month extension option in Patino’s contract.

The young midfielder expressed his desire to play alongside fellow academy graduates Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka.

“Everyone’s journey is different. Bukayo went straight from academy to first team, Eddie went on a few loans, Emile went on a few loans, so everyone’s journey is different,” Patino said.

“But ultimately, it’s about getting to where you want to get to, and that’s the same for me. I want to play in the first team at Arsenal and being here is a massive pathway to help me do that.”
