Eddie Nketiah netted a hattrick in Arsenal’s last game against Sheffield United.

The England international ended his goalscoring drought in a spectacular fashion over the weekend scoring a hattrick in the 5-0 win over Sheffield United.

Due to Gabriel Jesus’ latest injury setback, Nketiah was handed the opportunity on Saturday night and broke the deadlock in the 28th minute of the game.

The win pushed Arsenal up to second place with 24 points from 10 games and Nketiah would want to continue his momentum of scoring in the upcoming games.

Pundit Stephen Warnock believes the Arsenal forward is too clever for his opponenets even though he is a back-up option at the club.

“I thought the first goal was the best goal,” said Warnock. “I just think the touch is phenomenal and to take it across the defender. That is a proper striker’s goal.

“It wasn’t just that. It was the movement of him as well – He is too clever for it. Doesn’t want to get into a tussle with the defender. He knows that’s not his strength.

“All round his game and his link-up play was very good. He will be delighted with his performance.”
