Gabriel Jesus has suffered a knee injury against Cameroon.

The Arsenal forward has been ruled out of the World Cup because of a knee injury he sustained in the game against Cameroon.

He is expected to miss some games when the Premier League resumes on the Boxing Day.

There were rumours that the manager knew that Jesus was dealing with a fitness issue before the World Cup.

Tite said: “I don’t like hearing lies out there, evil lies.

“At no time do we play for victory at the risk of a player’s peril.”

Many reports that the 25-year-old striker will be out of action until January which will be a massive blow for the Gunners.

Tite continued: “The liar who’s out there – because that’s the name isn’t it, the haters, right?

“Go do something else and stop giving fake news. We are responsible, we are personally responsible, we are ethical and it would never have happened.

“I didn’t want this to happen, it’s a shame, we are very sorry for Gabriel.”
