Alexandre Lacazette is an influential figure both on and off the pitch.
The Frenchman will be out of contract in the summer with Arsenal willing to offer him a one-year contract extension.
But the forward wants a longer contract so his future still remains a doubt.
The Gunners have won five games in succession and are now in pole position for the fourth spot in the Premier League table.
His compatriot Granit Xhaka lauds the influence Lacazette has on and off the pitch and wants the forward to stay beyond this summer.
“In the end, people want him to score. People only see if players score,” Xhaka told Premier League Productions.
“But people sometimes don’t see how important he is for us, not only on the pitch but as well off the pitch. On the pitch, he is an amazing player and he understands the game so good with the quality he has.
“I hope now after this three, four, five, six weeks they (people) understand how important he is for us.”
