Injury Update On 3 Arsenal Players Before Sheffield Fixture

Arsenal have a brilliant opportunity to climb up the Premier League standings through a run of favourable fixtures.

Unai Emery will also be boosted by the return of his star forward, Alexandre Lacazette.

The Frenchman got the entire international break to rehabilitate on his ankle injury and is ready to face against Sheffield United this weekend.

Emile Smith-Rowe suffered a concussion after clashing heads in the Carabo Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest. He was left out of the following Europa League game against Standard Liege with Emery citing the player’s need to rest more.

He has returned to training full time and will be available for the clash against the Blades. Reiss Nelson, unfortunately, could miss around 7 games after he pulled out of England U21 duties with a knee injury.

Arsenal could finally field their best attacking trio when they travel to Bramall Lane on Sunday. Emery’s comments suggest Kieran Tierney could make his Premier League debut and Hector Bellerin could return to the first team as well.

Joe Willock was taken off for the England U21s in the 5-1 thrashing off Austria but that was purely tactical and not because of injury concerns. He could up for a callup next to Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka.
