Juventus are re-evaluating their midfield options and they are looking for a replacement for Paul Pogba who is injured. The Old Lady found interest in Arsenal star Thomas Partey.
Thomas Partey is being viewed as a potential replacement. The upcoming January transfer window will be crucial and the player himself is possibly open to negotiations with Juventus.
The Serie A giants are looking to strengthen their midfield options. They signed Paul Pogba from Manchester United in the summer of 2022 but it didn’t work out.
In his first season with Juventus, Pogba was featured for just 161 minutes across all competitions due to a knee injury. His struggles continued into this season and played for 52 minutes.
As per the reports of Italian sources, Juventus are now considering Arsenal’s Thomas Partey as a possible replacement for Pogba.
The 30-year-old midfielder featured in all three of Arsenal’s Premier League matches this season before an injury set him back. Calciomercato also adds that Mikel Arteta may be open to exploring alternative midfield options in the future.
