Partey has been a vital player in Arsenal’s midfield area. However, the Gunners are possibly indicating they are looking to move on from ex-Atletico Madrid man.
Partey is currently recovering from an injury, which means he’ll need to fight for his spot in the first team when he returns.
As per the Football Insider’, he may not be willing to accept a bench role. There are some reports that he could consider leaving the club. He may ask for the possibility of requesting a transfer as early as the January transfer window.
Partey knows several clubs wanted to add him to their squad in the summer and would not want to stay on the bench. If Mikel Arteta gets a good offer, Arsenal can let him go in 2024.
