Kevin Campbell explains why Saka is struggling for goals

Bukayo Saka is struggling because of Ben White at right-back.

The Gunners have been in tremendous form winning their all four games in the Premier League.

But Saka has been struggling to make an impact in the final third this season.

This is because most of the attacking happens on the left wing that includes the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal are currently running short on options as Takehiro Tomiyasu and Cedric Soares are unavailable and Ben White has to deploy in that position.

Both Saka and White needs to spend more on training ground working together.

He tells Football Insider: “I just think that things are happening on the left-hand side solely because of Granit Xhaka and Zinchenko.

“Sometimes one releases the other. You don’t have that on the other side with the way that Martin Odegaard plays.

“We know what Saka can do but Ben White has been deputising as a full-back and has done a really good job but he’s not an offensive full-back, he’ll be one that sits there.”
