Kieran Tierney Ruled Out For Three Months

Arsenal have fallen prey to another common December problem – injuries.

Kieran Tierney got ruled out for the rest of the year with a dislocated shoulder.

The former Celtic player had to be taken off early in the 1-3 win over West Ham United. He appeared to collide with Michael Antonio after which he could not stand up. It was a concerning site and the medical team predicts him to be out for another three months.

Tierney posted a picture of him walking off at the London Stadium with his arm in a sling, along with the message, “Thank you so much for continued support through everything. Very grateful for it. I don’t take it for granted. God bless x”

Tierney’s fullback partner, Hector Bellerin too had to miss out on Monday’s win due to a hamstring injury. The Spaniard was supposed to start the game but contracted the injury during warm-up. There is still a doubt on when he will return on the top of Granit Xhaka suffering a concussion and Nicolas Pepe a bruised knee.

Freddie Ljungberg has admitted injuries are taking a toll on the side as they try to revitalize their form this season. Arsenal will travelling to Beligum for their final Europa League clash against Standard Liege. It will be a chance for the interim boss to rotate his squad around since the Gunners have already progressed to the knockout stages.
