Arsenal signed Nicolas Pepe earlier this season.

He was a summer signing. A record signing for Arsenal actually as he came for over 70 million quids.

The Arsenal winger and former Lille star has had a slow start to life in PL.

He was the best player in Lille last season tearing apart defences in Ligue 1. However, the dribbler has found it tough to set himself up in the league.  He is however, being backed by the Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette to come good.

“He’s slowly starting to speak English,” Lacazette began. “On the field, he understands more and more the requirement of the Premier League.

“We must give him time. With the qualities he has, when he has assimilated everything, I do not worry about the level he will reach within the club.”

Lacazette was also a big money signing for the Gunners two seasons back and he has done brilliantly making the shift from France to England.

Lacazette has said that he is sure and we should take some comfort from the dependable Frenchman.

It now all depends on Pepe to adjust and deliver in due time. The fans will surely be waiting.
