Conversations are ongoing over a new contract for Saka at Emirates.
Manchester City is planning to sign Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka in the upcoming summer, transfer insider Dean Jones has suggested to GiveMeSport.
Pep Guardiola will be looking at identifying long-term targets as he aims to continue his current success with the Cityzens.
As per CBS reporter Ben Jacobs via his CaughtOffside column, Manchester City “really like” Saka but it is thought that it will be difficult to acquire the winger at the time of writing, with the Arsenal star more likely to sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.
He also adds his point on Saka: “Saka loves Arsenal and the team are flying right now, so the only thought at the moment is about staying at Arsenal and the talks are progressing.”
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano told GiveMeSport last month that conversations are ongoing over a new contract for Saka.
Jones also told GiveMeSport: “Man City are the main club that I’ve heard would be interested in signing Saka. Any club in the world is going to want Saka, especially when he’s showing form like this.”
