According to the Spanish outlet Marca, as cited by Metro, Former Sevilla and current Roma sporting director Monchi is set to leave the Serie A club at the end of the current season and might be on his way to have a reunion with Unai Emery at Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in the hunt for someone new since the departure of their former head of recruitment Sven Mislintat and Monchi can be the perfect man to get into the mix for the north London club. The duo of Monchi and Emery have worked well together during their time at Sevilla and helped the La Liga side to win three Europa League titles in a row.
The reunion might see the duo build their own dynasty at the north London club, which might, in turn, help to make their side a really strong one in the future. However, the speculations being rife, it is to be seen whether the move materialises in real life or not.
