Newcastle eyeing a move for Arsenal midfielder Guendouzi

Marseille have an automatic option to purchase Guendouzi at the end of his loan.

Newcastle United are looking for a major change in their system after new ownership. Magpies are eyeing up a move for Matteo Guendouzi in the pursuit of building a new squad.

Matteo Guendouzi has also played for France after a fine performance for Marseille this season. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is not interested in him so it’s sure that other clubs can sign him in next summer.

Newcastle joins the race and they are linked with Guendouzi. Magpies would not have to break the bank to sign Frenchman after his value plummeted following his fall-out with Gunners boss.

As per reports, Marseille have an automatic option to purchase the player at the end of his loan for the rather pathetic sum of €11m. It means Newcastle might not even get the chance to buy him.
