Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Angry About 'Bull' Claims

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not happy with the claims made over his promotion to Arsenal captain.

The Gabon international replaced Granit Xhaka as the club’s leader. Reports claim that the Arsenal dressing room are divided on the decision to name Aubameyang captain due to his relationship with the AFTV YouTube channel.

“I just arrived in Gabon and heard [sic] a lot of b*******,” he wrote. “I talk with who I want whenever I want and if somebody’s not happy with … you already know.”

Aubameyang caused controversy by liking one of AFTV’s Instagram post which suggested Arsenal should sell Granit Xhaka. The channel also voiced their opinion on why Unai Emery should get sacked as the Gunners boss.

The North London outfit are currently suffering from a world of hurt. They have dropped 8 points behind the fourth spot of the Premier League and are winless in 5 games across all competitions.

Emery chose to hand Aubameyang the captaincy band after Xhaka’s fallout with the Arsenal fanbase. The striker is one of the only consistent performers for the club and is also one of the seniormost players.

While he does lead by example on the pitch, reports suggest he might not have been the popular choice among the players to be named captain.
