Premier League rivals are leading the race to sign Arsenal star.

Crystal Palace ‘leading the race’ to sign Jack Wilshere.

The London rivals Palace have reportedly joined the race to sign Jack Wilshere on a free transfer this summer.

The English midfielder is looking set to depart Arsenal after injury hit life with The Gunners.

The 26-year-old is believed to have had crunch talks with new manager Unai Emery last week, where the Spaniard is thought to have told Wislhere he is no longer in his plans for next term.

Wilshere had previously rejected a contract extension at the Emirates earlier this year.

The north London club only offered him a one-year extension, rather than the three he was demanding for.

And so, a whole host of clubs are keen on signing the England international when his deal expires in July, including Everton and West Ham and now Crystal Palace.

According to Mirror, Crystal Palace who are in pole position for his signature with Roy Hodgson having worked with the midfielder during his national team days.
