Arsenal defender Cedric Soares expected to leave Emirates in January.
The Portuguese defender has struggled for game time over the past two seasons and is expected to make a move this January transfer window.
His contract with the Gunners expires in the summer and spent the second-half of last season on loan at Fulham.
Unfortunately, the Cottagers weren’t impressed with his performances and Cedric failed to earn a permanent move at the start of the season.
Turkish club Besiktas is one of the clubs interested in the veteran defender as he will be available for a nominal price this month.
The Turkish side has reportedly intensified its interest in his signature and pundit Fabrizio Romano hints Cedric could be set for a move this winter.
The 32-year-old defender is deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal and the club needs to balance the books with a few sales this January.
Romano said: “He will leave. This is the expectation, and they’re looking at solutions, whether it’s something in Spain or Turkey. So, they’re waiting for the best solution, even the player, and then we will see in the next few days, but I see Soares leaving.”
