Who lost more: Arsenal or Sanchez?

Chile coach Reinaldo Rueda has leaned a sympathetic shoulder to Sanchez.

“It’s been a traumatic year for him, very tortuous, even after his departure from Arsenal, his first year in Manchester,” Rueda said.

“He came to the Copa America in Brazil and then he was very unlucky to get injured in Alicante in a friendly against Colombia. It almost frustrated his loan to Inter.

“Once he had recovered, the pandemic happened. I hope it passes fast because he is a great professional.”

Sanchez was at the top of his game when he left Arsenal to ‘win trophies’ and joined United who has not won anything since. His spectacular failure at Old Trafford pushed him to Italy where he is average at best.

As for Arsenal, Sanchez has been replaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the new talisman and he is the club captain now at Arsenal.

Auba has scoring and assisting rate of close 1 per game and is being chased by big clubs for his imperious form. Sanchez struggles to make it to the starting XI of any team and the player is already on the wrong side of 30.

Thanks for leaving Arsenal, Alexis.
