According to the reports of Charles Watts for Goal, Arsenal haven’t yet pulled out of the race for Youri Tielemans completely.
Gabriel Jesus is completing his transfer, and Fabio Vieira has already signed. Arsenal are now focusing on Tielemans. They could yet return for him towards the end of the transfer window.
According to Watts, it depends on what other business the Gunners get done. If Gunners can make some sales, they’ll have more money to spend on Tielemans. If they sell a midfielder or two, suddenly signing one becomes more important.
If Arsenal’s moves for Raphinha and Lisandro Martinez fall through, that frees up funds to spend on Tielemans.
